Initially accustomed to smaller pumps, I was amazed when this mid-sized pump arrived ‚Äì it’s almost the size of a small toaster! However, its power justifies the size. I needed a replacement for my previous pump, which was supposed to be quiet but turned out to be obnoxiously loud at full power. Thankfully, I stumbled upon this gem while searching for a 4W pump suitable for tanks up to 200 gallons at 110 GPH. For just a little extra cost, I now have a pump that’s over twice as powerful, and it’s been a game-changer.I own a 75-gallon tank filled with Cichlids, and without a reliable air pump, they start gasping within hours and eventually perish one by one. The moment I unboxed this pump, I was delighted to find four outlets, a control knob, and a whole set of additional accessories ‚Äì four 5ft clear tubes, four air stones, four check valves, four flow regulators, and even some splitters and hose suction cup anchors. All of these extras alone are worth about $20 if bought separately.On the first night, I noticed it became a bit louder, but the noise was due to the hose and cord touching the pump. Once I repositioned everything, it has been running smoothly ever since.
