She is a skilled carpenter, and has a genuine passion for woodworking, often taking the time to infuse her works with carvings and a level of care and detail uncalled for but very much appreciated. Because of her skill with woodworking, she is sometimes approached outside of her function as a coffin maker, and asked to create other pieces of furniture or carve something beautiful. She is rarely paid well for her work, but her love of it remains strong.  She believes that the details she often adds to a simple coffin can help families grieve their loved ones passing and takes her craft seriously.
